Fans will notice new entry gates, suites, restrooms, and concession stands, while players and coaches will benefit from new turf, upgraded team areas, and programmable lights. A new roof also sets the stage for future firework shows.
The stadium can now hold 8,012 fans, with additional standing room on the way. More upgrades — including a right-field plaza, a coach’s office, and a new player entry area — are slated for completion this summer.
Bonus: The first 800 fans to enter the stadium this afternoon will receive a replica of the stadium as a souvenir.
