Renovations at Lindsey Nelson Stadium are nearly complete, just in time for Tennessee baseball’s season opener on Friday, Feb. 13.

Fans will notice new entry gates, suites, restrooms, and concession stands, while players and coaches will benefit from new turf, upgraded team areas, and programmable lights. A new roof also sets the stage for future firework shows.

The stadium can now hold 8,012 fans, with additional standing room on the way. More upgrades — including a right-field plaza, a coach’s office, and a new player entry area — are slated for completion this summer.

Bonus: The first 800 fans to enter the stadium tomorrow will receive a replica of the stadium as a souvenir.
