Knoxvillian

Knoxville’s own Ashley Capps has been named one of Spin magazine’s most influential people in music. Capps founded AC Entertainment in the 1990s, which went on to launch the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and later founded Knoxville’s Big Ears Festival in 2009.

Mansion Monday

This newly listed, all-brick beauty on Martin Mill Pike is worth a closer look. Tucked at the end of a long driveway, the five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home sits on an elevated hilltop and boasts a custom kitchen, a brand-new outdoor deck, and an in-ground pool.

The Wrap

We’re in the depths of winter — that might explain why people are so interested in soup at the moment. A cozy sweater and a warm bowl at The Soup Kitchen on Kingston Pike sounds great right now.
